IA Doc - Sec 3 Personas

A user persona is someone web designers use to determine their target audience and get an understanding of their demographics, needs/goals,  behavior and a few personal details that make them realistic. Even though personas represent actual users that will come to the site, they do not represent all potential users. There are usually 3 personas, two secondary and and one main persons is the primary focus for the design.

3.1       Children: Kaylee Carter

	Kaylee Carter  – Existing Client
		“Mommy I want a snow cone!”

Personal Profile Kaylee Carter is a 6-year-old child who cheerleader at the YMCA weekly.  This is her first year cheering for the Y, however she’s been going up there a little over a year with her family to do other sporting activities. Kaylee is a regular at the Y, coming up there every weekend and at least twice a week. Since she usually is up there for hours a day she ends up wanting something to eat or drink. 3.2       Teenager: Jayla Mann

Personal Profile Jayla is a junior at Gwinnett High School. She participates in a lot at school such as softball, yearbook, FCCLA etc. She likes to go to a lot of sporting events and of course if you go out you have to get something to eat or drink too. Jayla would like to be able to purchase something while she’s at the games because after taking a long time finding something to wear, getting ready, and watching a game, she’ll definitely be hungry.	background ·       17 years old ·       High school junior ·       Softball player ·       Attends many sporting events ·       Very involved inschool attributes ·       Female ·       Bulldog softball player Customer   needs ·       To purchase food and/or drink at games		Jayla is hot at a basketball game because it’s so crowded and she’s been cheering for her school all night. 3.3       College student:  Monica Nickson

		“I would like to be able to see what’s going to be new on my site.”

Personal Profile Monica Nickson is recent high school graduate and currently takes college tours to find “the one”. She loves cooking and is looking to take up culinary at the Art Institute of Atlanta. She has the basic knowledge of cooking but wants to know every aspect of it.
