Project Proposal -- Sec 8 and 9

8 Project Management Approach

8.1 The Design Hub Project Management
We plan to talk/meet with the customer and ask questions about the site before we begin the process because we want to have a full understanding of what the client needs. We want to keep her updated with what we have going on with the site because the more we keep her updated the easier it will be to correct any changes and that way it will be few minor changes to be done at the end, if any. As a group we will collaborate ideas with each other weekly and meet deadlines to meet her expectation with what she is planning on getting with the design, experience and overall tone of the site.

8.1.1 Client Responsibilities
In order to make this a successful project, not only we have to do our part as designers but we need the client to help us do our part. For example, we may need the client to respond to e-mails and/or phone calls in a timely manor. We will need the content you are going to write up yourself, and the parts of the page you want us to write up as  a team. We will also need your logo and any other photos you want to include in the site in high resolution, as well as your username and password to your domain and hosting account, and lastly all the elements you want on each page such as photos, links, forms etc.

8.1.2 Change Control Policies and Procedures
We have a set schedule to work on this website, so when the client gives us a change of scope for the site we will still be able to do whatever she wants to do we will just have to change some things around for our project schedule. The Design Hub is all about making deadlines and pleasing our client so we will just work it into the schedule to do the changes for her.

8.1.3 Customer Satisfaction
The Design Hub will ensure customer satisfaction first by getting the knowledge of what our client wants and needs for their site via a phone interview. We want to be precise with meeting deadlines because nobody like waiting for anything, so when we say we'll having something ready by a certain time or day, we will have it. We will be organized workers by keeping everything in a certain place and backing up all work that is done for the job. Next, we will keep it personal by giving her exactly what she wants by giving her a trendy but simple and clean site that makes people think of their "childhood happiness".

9 Project Schedule
In order to be organized and stay on top of our task, we have a project schedule that we will follow as shown below. A project schedule shows the tasks the Design Hub will be performing each week. The first column shows the the number of task we are doing for the project, the second column shows the completion status, the third and fourth gives the name of the task and how long it should take to get done, the fifth and sixth shows the start and finish dates of the task, and the last column says who's performing that task.
